100 THEMES CHALLENGE
Today I turned eighteen. My feelings are mixed, however I do not feel any different from when I was seventeen. Actually time passes so rapidly I do not feel any different from when I was fourteen and can remember life then so vividly. The days, weeks, months, and years have appeared to blur into one another as Ive aged. I recall being in second or third grade and not realizing how brief summer vacation was; back then it seemed to be as long as a year, the days slow, but carefree and pleasurable. Hopefully, my life isnt over and done with so quickly. Though I still have many years ahead of me, I feel as if time is passing to quickly. But I want to make the most it.
Anyway, I didnt get much. My paternal grandmother gave me $25 and my maternal grandmother sent me a gift cardI should get it in the mail tomorrow. I know Im definitely going to preorder the 2009 Star Trek movie as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and purchase an awesome McCoy shirt. I also want to buy an extension cord, so I can set up my scanner. My dad promised to get me the most needed peach colored pencil and Sakura Micron pen soon; I cant wait because I have tons of artwork to finish. My favorite gift was ~Rikki-the-Greats drawingTo conclude my birthday I ate a very delicious cheesecake

So, recently my current obsession has been Star Trek. I just finished the second season and during the course of the episodes Pavel Chekov has become my favorite character; well tying with McCoy. Ive been enjoying myself by creating fan characters and writing drabbles. Though I will be sad when I finish watching the third seasonI dont feel this way often, much less for a television show, but I have been real fond of the plots and characters. My dad suggested watching Star Trek: The Next Generation afterward, however I have seen a couple episodes and it lacks the original series ambiance; Ill give it a try anyway. I started watching the movies too. Though they are the same characters, like The Next Generation, it was short of familiarity. I especially did not like the change of uniforms or the modification of the Enterprise. I hope Star Trek 2009 will not disappoint me, but it will give me something to look forward to.

While Ive been watching a series made in the sixties, Ive been listening to music mainly from the eighties. I love Africa by Toto, Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler, and As I Lay Me Down by Sophie B. Hawkins (though its not as old); plus many more. I dont know why I have a sudden interest in older music, but they are muse for my writingI can tell you that much![]()
Now, Im going to eat more cheesecake

Are you a VulCAN, or a VulCAN'T?

If you can't take criticism, then how will your art improve?

And...I think you can get individual pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. They're like 1.99 or something like that. If you're super cheap like me and buying just 1 pencil, I recommend printing out the 30-40% off coupon from either store's website and then it's even less XD
