Artist's Comments

This is Mew Star Apple, a request for the Tokyo Mew Mew art request site, Cafe.Mew Mew. run by :iconsuper-squirrel:. I drew and inked it yesterday and colored it today. I think the overall coloring is good, I really like it and enjoyed doing it, but I messed up on her eyes while inking. The craptastic background was done poorly in Photoshop CS3, but it's better than anything I would do. While I was coloring this I noticed I completely forgot to add the bow that was supposed to be tied in the back; I hope Amaya-chan doesn't mind to much.

I have requests and art trades in progress, but it seems they have been taking years, yet I can pop this one out in two days. I have realized that I enjoy drawing fan mews, maybe I should make my request/trades strictly that; I'm just joking.

Ooh, I really like this textured style of colouring you used here. It's very unique and pretty. <3

And for our art trade...I'm still working on the sketch! >_< I'm sorry, I feel really guilty for slacking so much, but I realized I have an art project due like...tomorrow, so I had to do that. But trust me, I WILL get it done (and I hope that you like it when I do)!
